Leading the League in Most Offensive Categories ...
Some Ticker readers may be familiar with the time-honored cinematic
masterpiece "Major League", and how the Clu Haywood character
(portrayed with a fragile intimacy by Pete Vukovich) advanced the
plot with classic Shakespearian antagonism.
Of course, we could all don our black turtlenecks and debate the
film's relative merits, the juxtaposition of character, place, and
subtheme. But, like any work of art, "Major League" is a complex

Ticker has immortalized his contribution to the arts by naming an
entire family of graphics in his honor.

from previous years. You'll notice that, through today, 2008 is
outpacing the previous years.
