Recent Rains Reverse Reigning Regional Routines

The drought still holds, all across the state, but some places saw
some temporary relief this week. With the exception of south-central
Oklahoma, which desperately needs rain, much of the state has seen
at least a quarter-inch of rain in the last three days:



For those locations that received heavy rain, the three-day total
dwarfs the amount seen in the preceding month. In fact, at Walters,
you'd have to total up the last 72 days (dating to Jun 1) to match
this week's 1.78":
