Congratulations, Mr. President
It's good to be back from an extended away period, most of which was
spent in Rapid City, South Dakota at the 31st Annual Meeting of the
American Association of State Climatologists (AASC). This meeting was
special because OCS Director Dr. Ken Crawford completed his two year
term as President of the AASC.
Dr. Crawford, who replaced the New Jersey state climatologist in 2004,
is being replaced by the Pennsylvania state climatologist (no, we
aren't going in alphabetical order). Dr. Paul Knight of Penn State
is now AASC President, and will now spend his time upholding the
AASC Constitution, conferring knighthoods, commanding the AASC armed
forces, vetoing legislation and meeting with the world's chief
climatologists.
Wait a second, we're looking at the wrong Constitution.
Anyway, congratulations Dr. Crawford, on a successful term in office.
