Late Night With The Ticker
The average age of the Entire Ticker Staff has increased to the
point where sleep doesn't come in eight-hour chunks anymore ...
but it allows for a little bit of work in the wee hours of the
morning.
If you were watching the radar at 2:30 am (and judging by the flood
warnings and statements for SW Oklahoma, we know somebody was!)
you saw some interesting goings on in the reflectivity field.
As a surface low crawled along somewhere between Tulsa and OKC,
so too did a very neat feature. Check out the swirly circle
centered over Bristow in this screen-cap from OCS's WeatherScope
software:
