Cold Front Sparks Severe Weather
A strong cold front continues to usher much cooler air into the
northwestern two-thirds of Oklahoma, after triggering a round of
severe weather yesterday evening into this morning (see tables
below).
Temperatures at some locations behind the front are almost
40 degrees cooler than yesterday afternoon:
The Butler Mesonet site, recipient of an 80 mph wind gust yesterday,
experienced a temperature drop of almost 25 degrees in five minutes:
