Some Relief Falls on Oklahoma

During the weekend, most of Oklahoma received at least a little relief
from the hot, dry conditions of the last ten weeks. Temperatures
were more bearable, with highs in the 80s and 90s statewide.

Most of Oklahoma observed some rainfall since last Thursday, and a few
locations received significant amounts. The table that follows lists
the greatest Mesonet rainfall observations since Thursday afternoon.
Remember that rainfall is a very local variable, especially during the
summer in Oklahoma. For example, Chickasha's 2.10" inches looks great
for Grady County, until compared to the 0.31" and 0.24" at nearby
Ninnekah and Acme.

Rainfall Since Thursday Afternoon:

Eufaula 3.60" Cookson 1.67" Miami 1.30"
Hobart 2.99" Okmulgee 1.57" Medford 1.28"
Talihina 2.89" Boise City 1.51" Broken Bow 1.14"
