Three Mesonet stations along the Red River have matched the longest
streak of consecutive days with max temperatures above 100 F in the
network's history (since 1994). The Grandfield, Walters and Waurika
locations have now hit the century mark 29 days in a row, tying the
mark set at five stations (Ardmore, Lane, Tishomingo, Waurika and
Walters) in July and early August, 1998.

Don't Worry, They Won't Hurt You

For the first time in many days, clouds have shown up in significant
numbers across the state. Granted, it's not much in the big scheme of
things, but the moments of shade are certainly welcomed by all.
