A Tale of Two Januaries
It was the best of weather, it was the worst of weather. The first
three weeks of January were exceptionally warm, leaving the Ticker
with Great Expectations of record warmth. However, a late-month
snow storm and associated cold snap put a Twist on those emotions,
leaving the Ticker crying "Humbug!" when the final temperatures
fell short.
