Heavy Rains in the Southeast

Since yesterday's Ticker, parts southeastern Oklahoma received quite
a soaking.  Here are some of the rainfall totals since noon Monday:

Same Old Song, But It's a Good One

yesterday, compared to the entire warm season (April-September) of
1998.  As you can see, twelve Mesonet station have now surpassed their
six-month total from last year in less than two months:
