example.
Take a look at the maps for the water year precipitation and
percentage of normal.

If you toggle back and forth, it's pretty apparent that the high
percentages don't mesh with the higher rainfall totals. Proof that
it doesn't take a whole lot of rainfall to be well above normal
during the cool season in northwestern Oklahoma.
