Fire Danger Image Reflects Location of Moisture Axis
As moisture streams into western Oklahoma from the south-southwest
(which can be seen in the quicktime movie at:

the Oklahoma Fire Danger Model has indicated a relative minimum
of fire danger in the region, bounded by lower surface dew points
to the west and east.
