QA Manager Spots Frozen Wind Sentries

Over the Mesonet's five years of operation, Mesonet instrumentation
has seen several surprising adversaries, from spiders to gophers to
hawks to wild horses to wildfire.

Mesonet QA Manager Chris Fiebrich reports an old reliable menace:
freezing precipitation. 16 of the Mesonet's two-meter wind sentries
were frozen up during the days following the December 20-21 ice storm.

The QA Manager is responsible for overseeing the development and
implementation of several varied quality assurace procedures for
Mesonet Data.
