OWRB/Mesonet Monitored Streams Awaken
Of the five streams monitored cooperatively by the Oklahoma Water Resources
Board and the Oklahoma Mesonet, the three easternmost streams have shown
noticably increased streamflows in the past several days.
The gauges on the Chikaskia River (near Blackwell), Cottonwood Creek
(near Guthrie), and Sand Creek (Osage Co.) all reported periods of
increased streamflow since the Frances-related rainfall at the beginning
of the week.
Today's rainfall near Lawton is just now showing up at the Cache Creek
stream gauge.
