Governor's Drought Declaration
Governor Keating requested a federal agricultural disaster declaration
Monday for 31 counties in central and western Oklahoma.

As of midnight last night, 30 Oklahoma Mesonet stations in central and
western Oklahoma had recorded less than an inch of rain in June. 17 of
the 30 had observed less than a quarter inch of rainfall for the month.
