Keetch-Byram:
The Keetch-Byram Drought Index (KBDI) provides a measure of the amount of
moisture in the upper eight inches of the soil. It is most associated with
fire danger applications, but it can provide some degree of information
about drought status.

A current KDBI image is updated every day at the Oklahoma Fire Danger
Model output page: http://agweather.mesonet.org/fire/data.html
