Ahoy!
Come on, you saw the Ticker title today and you thought of chocolate chip cookies,
amirite? Then you saw the meme today and you thought of fish stick, amiwrong?
Good grief...you ever tried a salad??
Here's the deal though...the rainfall forecast continues to go up as we head
into the weekend and through early next week. Check this out! And yes, you will
be fined if you don't return it by the due date.
OMG but that's a lot of rain right after a time when we've gotten very little for
so long.
Are you kidding me? Where are we gonna put it all? As has become increasingly
the case, we see this dipole movement (and we all know just how painful that
can be!) where we go from terrible drought to flooding, and the first begets the
last because it bakes the ground hard like a brick, then the rain that falls
runs off and creates flash flooding. But it should also fill those farm ponds
and help replenish those lakes that have been flagging for months now.
And with that rain, a little severe weather must fall. In fall.
Get it? Yeah, me either, but still, tomorrow might be one of THOSE days in
Oklahoma. And I know what you're gonna ask...it ain't zero.
Oh yeah, don't forget the wind and fire danger!
Wait...let me backtrack there. So first we got the drought, then the record
heat, then the wind and wildfires, then severe weather with possible tornadoes,
then flooding?
Well where's the winter weather, smart guy???
Oh yeah, Wednesday night, another frost/freeze.
Oklahoma doing Oklahoma things.
